The Rohm and Haas Employees Federal Credit Union is a private financial institution which is fully independent of the Rohm and Haas Company. Its members are current and former Rohm and Haas employees and their families. Starting in 2004, contractors who work for the company and have a contract of at least one year are also eligible to join. RHCU is a democratic institution where each member has one vote and an elected board of directors manages the credit union on behalf of its membership.
The Rohm and Haas Employees Federal Credit Union serves members in the following ways: 1) RHCU makes loans to its members, 2) RHCU accepts deposits from its members (and pays interest on those funds through a number of instruments), and 3) RHCU provides a number of other financially related services.
