GREAT PROMOTIONS
This spring, we have some great promotion and activities planned:

Car Talk
On Friday, April 17 from 10:00 to noon, we will have coffee and cake for members on the company loading dock in the basement. The company garage will be filled with new and used cars for members to look at. We'll have BMW, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Subaru and Toyota represented. Representatives from BMW, Subaru and the Thompson Organization will be on hand to answer questions and to explain their companies' incentives to Rohm and Haas employees. In conjunction with this event, the Credit Union is reducing all new auto loan rates by .5% from April 6 to April 20. This means a new auto loan rate can be as low as 6.499%

Fees Waived on Home Equity Loans
During the months of April and May, we will waive all fees on Home Equity loans except title insurance (required on installment loans in excess of $100,000). For most borrowers this could amount to a savings of $250.00 or more. If you are planning a large home improvement project or need to plan for tuition payments later in the year, now might be a good time to arrange your financing.

Personal Loan Limit Extention
Also during April and May we will again extend the limit on unsecured personal loans from $10,000 to $15,000 for bill consolidations. Borrowers may borrow up to $10,000 for any reason, but the additional $5,000 limit extension must go toward consolidation of existing debt. To be eligible, members must have a current unsecured loan balance less than $10,000.

Enterprise Used Car Sale
During the week of May 4 to May 9, we will hold our Enterprise used car sale at their Lester, Philadelphia and Conshohocken locations. Autos are specially selected low-mileage 1996, 1997, and 1998 cars with solid maintenance records offered at prices lower than N.A.D.A. value. Enterprise offers a limited power train warranty good for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. There is also a 7 day or 1,000 mile buyback guarantee from Enterprise if members are unhappy with their purchase for any reason. For this sale we will also be offering the .5% rate decrease to decrease the rate to 7.499%, in addition to 100% financing and 5 year terms.

6% IRA
Until the end of April, we will be offering a 6% IRA CD for 30 and 60 month terms. If you are trying to increase your IRA yield without risk, contact the Credit Union office to find out how to transfer funds from an existing account or
to make a 1998 contribution. The Credit Union now offers Roth and Education IRA's as well as the traditional IRA. You can buy an IRA CD for as little as $500.

Call the Credit Union or stop by to get more information on any of these events and promotions.
